  • I’ve been watching the show since I was two, consuming books since I was ten, audios since I was fourteen
  • Favourite Doctor is the Seventh, and my favourite companions are Benny, Ace, and Romana
  • Favourite TV stories are Remembrance of the Daleks and the Curse of Fenric, Power of the Doctor recently too
  • Favourite books are Love & War and Life During Wartime, as well as the Bernice Summerfield Anthologies
  • Favourite audios are Bernice Summerfield, Gallifrey and New UNIT series, with favourites in the main range being those with 7, Ace, and Hex
  • For a little over a year, Bernice Summerfield has not just been my favourite Doctor Who character, but my favourite character of all time. I will not shut up about this woman
  • I may have a Doctor Who problem

Fanfiction and projects:

  • Many of my original posts revolve around my fanfic- my AO3 is available here. I am currently only writing one major fic, but if you want some absolutely obscure references and characters, have a peek
  • I’m working to make DWEU material more accessible by making both (listenable) TTS fan audiobooks and Big Finish scripts with the help of Whisper by OpenAI. DM me if you want to lend a hand!

I love Tegan’s lightning fast progression from confused, irate, & unwilling participant in cosmic events to stealing an ambulance with a giant grin to help three aliens escape the authorities. Absolute legend.

Not to immediate go Way Too Deep on a light hearted post, but I genuinely think this is the core of what makes Tegan an excellent character. She is pragmatic, and she will always Have A Go. Put her in any kind of bizarro situation, and she essentially tunes out all the alien stuff that’s too weird for her to understand and hones in on one comprehensible task that she can accomplish. If she can’t find a task that really needs doing, she defaults to Yell At Someone because hell, that might achieve something. But give her a different option and she will seize it. And this is such a good case in point. Functionally kidnapped by an alien, bad shit happening she can’t even begin to deal with, and then the alien falls to his death and turns in to a different person. What the fuck is she meant to do with that? Well, there’s an ambulance right there, and she knows how to drive. She’ll figure the rest out later.

while the WGA and SAG-AFTRA are on strike, production and support staff in two different parts of the mouse, Disney Animation Studios and 20th Century TV Animation, have been campaigning to be included in the Animation Guild with their animator and writer colleagues. companies like disney try to falsely segment certain workers in industries off, saying they are too different and wont recognize them as a part of the union, as a union busting tactic. it’s been MONTHS for one group and over a YEAR for another, that disney has ignored them. they’re asking for people to sign two petitions and talk about it online:
